Trekking Adventure
After FF retest today, I wanted to take train back home. Took 1st train, terminates at
Yewtee. Waited for other train, terminates at
Yewtee too, same for the 2
nd train. Although I know the 3rd train surely wouldn't terminate at
Yewtee anymore, since 3 trains already terminated there, I decided to do something to break the monotonous week.
I shall trek from Yewtee back home. The following updates are recorded by sms-ing Chuns. Firstly, to keep track of what I've done and where I've been. Secondly, is to know where to find me(or my corpse) in case any mishap happened to me.Thus, the adventure starts at 6.31pm@Yewtee
MRT station :D :D
Update@6.40pm: Bought Hot&Spicy
Calbee potato chips at a convenience store beside Foodfare@Yewtee
Update@6.49pm : Saw a humongous canal with no bridge for me to cross. No choice but to bypass it. Heck it's like as big as a soccer field.
Update@6.58pm: Bypassed the canal.
Update@7.06pm: Reached
Sungei Kadut Way. Had mosquito bites x3 combo. No dustbin in sight for me to throw my Hot&Spicy
Calbee potato chips wrapper.
Update@7.19pm: Decided that
Yewtee is a
fcuked up place to walk. Industrial area + Mosquitoes + Stinky stench + Uneven road +
Banglas.. no wait! I think I'm lost..
ahhh! Still no dustbin, mosquito bites x5 combo!
Update@7.35pm: Definitely lost. No taxi, no cars, no buses. Sky is turning dark, starting to get scared.. stucked at industrial area alone. I must pull through!
Update@8.00pm: I walked to a nearby fire station to ask for directions. They told me Kranji is an hour walk away. Refused to let me walk as they say it's impossible to reach there before midnight if I don't know the way. A kind fireman drove me to the nearby bus stop which is a freaking 15minutes away by CAR! They praised me for my determination for walking from Yewtee to the fire station. Although I can sense a tinge of sarcasm(they might thought I'm mentally ill or something). Thanked them, found dustbin, threw my potato chips wrapper and waited for bus at the bus stop. A kind uncle told me that the LAST bus is coming. If I missed that, I would have to sleep at the bus stop tonight. Fcuking lucky, Singaporeans are kind enough to aid a poor lost boy. Boarded the last 925 bus, took it all the way back to Woodlands Interchange. Thank god for everything.
-The End, Mission Failed-
Wanted to take pictures, but my phone camera spoil ):
I'll remember this for a very very very long time.
